NBRC was founded in 1984 by Greg Sabourin, who built the original group of members around open-water rowing. The club now supports a diverse group of men and women of all ages and skill levels, with interests ranging from recreation to elite competition. North Bay Rowing Club, in conjunction with the Petaluma Small Craft Center, supports community development efforts designed to bring the joys of human-powered watercraft to the North Bay.
In early 2025, I began work with NBRC. This is an ongoing project.Â
The North Bay Rowing Club is an aging club, with a brand designed in 1976. The nonprofit organization is run entirely by volunteers. I aim to revitalize their brand presence by utilizing existing colors and logo trends to refresh their identity. The left image is an early proposed brandboard. I am still in meetings with the Board of Trustees. To the left is the compiled brandboard summarizing my work for the 501(c)3 nonprofit.
Below is the current North Bay Rowing Club website (not made by me, it's just our website if you're curious!).
And below are other promotional materials I created for North Bay: banners, flyers, stickers, and posters--
